Holidays & Celebrations

We love parties and celebrations! Our goal is to minimize stress and have fun. Upon enrollment parents will receive a schedule of planned events/party days. Several of our party days are in the afternoons to help encourage parents to come by and join the festivities. We celebrate all major holidays including:

Christmas
Valentine’s Day
Easter
4th of July
Halloween
Thanksgiving
Hanukkah
Pre-K Graduation
And more!

Parents are welcome to visit and share with their child’s class different ethnic cultures and holidays that they personally celebrate. The Easter Bunny usually makes a surprise visit every Spring during our egg hunt. Santa also stops by in December and everyone has a chance to sit with Santa to get a special treat and get pictures taken.

We also sponsor a pumpkin decorating contest every year and have included just a few of the amazing, creative ideas by our parents and teachers alike.

Special Events

Throughout the school year, the children will also have an opportunity to participate in a number of special events including rodeo activities, carnivals and costume parades.

Birthdays

Each child’s birthday is very special to them! We encourage parents to bring in cookies, cupcakes, fresh fruit and, if you wish, party napkins and small plates. We have birthday crowns and stickers for the birthday child. If you choose to send ice cream, small individual cups work best. Please let the teachers know whether you will bring items so they can plan accordingly. Parents are always welcome to join us for the birthday celebration!

A note about party invitations: If you are sending birthday party invitations, please leave them in the office already addressed with the children’s names. We will be sure they get sent home. This is a more discreet way to avoid disappointment and overstimulation/hurt feelings.

Arts & Crafts

The children are so excited to create a variety of arts and crafts projects on a daily basis. At the end of the day, as the children go running into their parent’s arms they can’t wait to show them their crafts from the day. We’ve included just a few of their creative masterpieces.
