Celebrating Holidays

Parents are welcome to visit and present to the class on different ethnic cultures and religious holidays they personally celebrate. The Easter Bunny usually makes a surprise appearance every spring to coincide with the children's Easter egg hunt. Additionally, Santa makes a visit every December for the children to take photos with Santa.

Birthday Celebrations

We encourage parents to bring in snacks to celebrate their children's birthdays. Please let the teachers know ahead of time whether you will be bring items and the nature of what you will be bringing. While some parents choose to bring in chicken nuggets or pizza to share, the most common items are cupcakes, ice cream treats, yogurt and fresh fruit. Please do not bring any chocolate, candy or items containing peanuts to celebrate birthdays.
